The Women Leadership Summit welcomed keynote speaker Empowerment and Business Expert, Entrepreneur & Author Jen Groover on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Bryant Park. Groover delivered a high energy seminar titled, “Women in Finance: Empowerment with Purpose.” This “TED-like” talk was targeted toward women looking to advance themselves both emotionally and financially. Jen Groover’s “Women in Finance: Empowered with Purpose” was a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages to realize their self-worth and how to integrate her positive outlook into their own lives. As Groover so eloquently put it, “set out to inspire and be greater than yourself—never let someone dim your light.”

Having been tagged by SUCCESS magazine as a “One-Woman Brand” and a “Creativity and Innovation Guru,” as well a leading “Serial Entrepreneur” by Entrepreneur Magazine, Groover drew from her breadth of personal experience to teach women in business how to leverage time and influence, effectively use available tools and embrace creative strategies in order to become empowered leaders in their own right.

Groover told a compelling story regarding empowerment and the entrepreneurial spirit. During her key note address the audience was captivated by Groover’s vigor and stories of the real life experiences that shaped who she is today. Her enthusiasm and energy made everyone listening a firm believer in her many positive mantras and powerful messages of empowerment. Groover’s passion for living with intention is clear. Among her many useful and inspiring pieces of advice, Groover reminded the audience to, “live [their lives] with passion and purpose”.
