Thomas John accurately predicted that “Argo” would win Best Picture, Daniel Day Lewis would win Best Actor for “Lincoln,” Jennifer Lawrence would win Best Actress for “Silver Linings Playbook,” and Anne Hathaway would win Best Supporting Actress for “Les Miserables.” The same day, Thomas John also predicted Jennifer Lawrence’s fall up the steps of the Oscars stage, and Adele winning Best Original Song for “Skyfall” during a segment on SiriusXM’s The Judith Regan Show.

Thomas John made headlines earlier this year for his prediction about the deterioration of Pope Benedict XVI’s health, live on WFAS-FM’s “Above and Beyond with Laura Smith,” on December 30, 2012. During the radio show, Thomas John stated, “The Pope will pass away or suffer a major health catastrophe.” On Monday, February 11, 2013, citing deteriorating health, the Pope announced his resignation, becoming the first to do so in six centuries.
