ROBERT PATTINSON HIT BY TAXI IN NEW YORK

Sexy Robert Pattinson was hit by a taxi while running away from die hard fans who mobbed him on the New York City set of his new movie. Robert was left unhurt by the accident, which took place in downtown Manhattan on Thursday, while he was shooting "Remember Me" . A team of five security guards couldn't stop a swarm of teenage girls pouncing on Pattinson as he left the Strand bookstore during a break in filming, as he was rushed across the road to safety, he was side swiped on the hip by a yellow cab. According to RadarOnline.com, one bodyguard checked Pattinson for injuries before screaming at the fans, "You see what you did, you almost killed him!" However, movie bosses have called the claims the actor was running away from fans "exaggerated."A spokesperson for the movie's production company has downplayed the reports, and says filming is carrying on as normal after the drama.Vivian Mayer tells the New York Daily News, "The reports are exaggerated. It was not caused by his fans. Production continues."
