TWO MEN HELD IN JOHN TRAVOLTA EXTORTION

Police in the Bahamas have launched an huge investigation surrounding an attempt to extort money from Hollywood star John Travolta. The full details of the extortion plot have not been released yet, but a report in Bahamian newspaper The Tribune is suggesting police have brought two people in for questioning, and one is believed to be a politician. Travolta's lawyers have confirmed the extortion attempt is connected to the movie star's recent loss. The actor's 16-year-old son Jett died after suffering a seizure at the family retreat in the Bahamas on January 2nd. In a statement to the Jacksonville Florida Times-Union, the attorneys reveal, "Regrettably, in a time of such terrible grief, there are often a few individuals who attempt to make false claims in hopes of making millions of dollars. We will never let that happen."
