LIZA MINNELLI AND CHER WEIGH IN ON MADONNA'S FALL

Image
**** THE GLORIOUS CORNER Story By:  G. H. HARDING **** Madonna MADONNA --- By now, you've not doubt seen the horrific spill that Madonna took on stage at the Brit awards earlier this week in L. A. The Internet blew up with both positive and negative remarks – some seemed to take glee in the fact that it happened at all, while others, including Cher and Liza Minnelli even weighed in, countering that it’s something every performer dreads, but the fact that she got right up and continued attested to her professionalism. I think it's a sad state of affairs when something like this happens and people actually take joy in it. Call it the TMZ-factor or whatever, but it’s definitely not right. Truth be told, obviously something went askew, but she got right back up and continued the performance. Face it; she’s a pro … always has, always will. KEATON’S MOMENT --- Not to continue on a rant with the web, but this week featured a moment tha...

THE REASON WHY CHAZ BONO IS REALLY A MAN

Image
**** THE CHICAGO GOSSIP Story By: Kathy Posner **** Chaz Bono In Judaism, children are not obligated to observe the commandments; although they are encouraged to learn and follow the obligations they will have as adults. At the age of 13 for boys (12 for girls), children are considered to have become adults and are required to observe the commandments. At the ceremony that marks the occasion, a Bar Mitzvah, the celebrant always proclaims at the start of his speech, “Today I am a man.” Chastity Bono, born a woman, could have proclaimed those words after his transition. The Merriam Webster dictionary , defines transgender as “of, relating to, or being a person (as a transsexual or transvestite) who identifies with or expresses a gender identity that differs from the one which corresponds to the person's sex at birth.” Basically, the sexual organs that a person was born with does not match the gender that the person feels he or she really is. According to the Human Rights Campaign ...

The 62 year old star, sparked concerns for her health when she canned a string of shows at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace last month. She has since assured fans that the bout of bad health was caused by an allergy to Sin City winds. A source told a tabloid, "He’d been on the East Coast, but flew to her side. "Cher has assured Tim she’ll give him plenty of room to do whatever he wants.
