VIDEO: BROOKLYN HOSPITAL BUILDS OUTSIDE CORONAVIRUS BEDS IN STREET

A reader gave us this video of Maimonides Medical Center. They allege the hospital is creating outside hospital beds under a tent outside in the street to get ready for the surge of Coronavirus patients. The Hospital is a non-profit, non-sectarian hospital located in Borough Park, in the New York City.

New York City's Javits Center is also transforming into a  field hospital for coronavirus patients

CBS NEWS -- Conversion of the main showroom floor of the Javits Center in Manhattan is expected to begin this week, turning the 1.8 million square feet of convention space into New York City's first field hospital to respond to the coronavirus crisis, CBS New York reports.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the plans Saturday and toured the space Monday afternoon. He said setting up four 250-bed field hospitals at the site would take about a week to 10 days.

"This is going to get much worse before it gets better," said Cuomo. "We are still in the relative calm before the storm. You're going to see the number of infections, the number of cases increase dramatically.

There’s currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
Do
Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze.
Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.
Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell.
Don't
Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean.
