A ongoing problem at Gantry and Hunters Point South Parks with gang graffiti is causing major concern with residents of the area.
Almost every night hordes of people descend on the parks and the morning brings huge amounts of litter as well as gang related graffiti. The latest which looks like a MS13 tag was found last week at Gantry Park. It has since been removed, but the persistence of the night time crowds brings more problems for the residents of the area.
The police departments anti-graffiti squad have been notified and are looking into the latest vandalism that seems to be a nightly event. Stay tuned!
