Times Square Gossip honors America's greatest comeback story of the Sochi Olympic games so far! We met then Olympic Bronze medalist Andrew Weibrecht back in 2011 at a fantastic event honoring the New York Ski Educational Foundation at the elegant Boathouse Restaurant in Central Park.
In the last 24 hours, he's racked up another medal and went from 29th place to earning a Silver Medal after a blockbuster performance in Super G Alpine Skiing, besting even legendary skier and teammate Bode Miller.
Weibrecht, who hails from Lake Placid, NY, is down to earth and friendly, and a truly determined athlete. At the event we attended with him, he was joined by fellow Olympians and the emcee, acclaimed TV host Rita Cosby.
