Night Of A Thousand Gowns

I know I am late with this story, but I just had to tell you, because this is such a wonderful event.

The Imperial Court of New York, which has donated over a million dollars since its inception in 1986, is known for producing never to be forgotten events like it's annual The Night of 1,000 Gowns. The event is like no other night in New York City - with a Broadway meets not-so-Broadway quality production, silent and live auctions and opportunities to purchase a title of your own and be presented to the Monarchs onstage . Yes, it's all about the Monarchs.

This year marked it’s 27th annual gala fundraiser: a night of over the top glamour, unparalleled creativity and a bunch of things you'll never see in one ballroom anywhere else. From last year’s headliner Lisa Lampanelli, to this year’s headliner Taylor Dayne - to the event's annual Procession of The Monarch which features more men in dresses then The Vatican on Christmas Eve - it's a night not soon forgotten. Although with the amount of tequila I consumed, parts of the night are a little foggy.
