FLII STYLZ NOMINATED FOR WORLD DANCE AWARD

VMA Award Winner, Anwar “Flii Stylz” Burton, who is still flying high from winning a “Moon Man” at MTV’s 2012 Video Music Awards for Best Choreography for Chris Brown’s “Turn Up The Music” , has been nominated for the 2012 World Dance Awards for Chris Brown’s “She Ain’t You”. Flii is nominated for Outstanding Choreography Music Video and Outstanding Choreography Television Live Performance. The World Dance Awards will be held October 14, 2012 at The Key Club in Hollywood.

“I've actually put more then half my life into polishing and developing many of this planets brightest stars. The MOONMAN is a perfect representation of my feelings. It’s outta this world!! I'm walking on air so to speak It's a honor," says Flii of his VMA Award.

Much can be expected from Flii in the upcoming months. Recently being named Creative Director for Chris Brown’s new label CBE, he is also gearing up to go on Chris Brown’s European Tour, Carpe Diem. The tour kicks off in Norway on November 17th and wraps up in Paris, France on December 7th. He will also be featured in MTV’s hit docu-series “World of Jenks” which is set to premiere its second season November 12th.




Flii’s creativity has led him to many ventures in the entertainment world. Choreographer, creative director, dancer, actor, rapper and songwriter can all be added to Flii’s resume. This creative genius has been on 10 world tours and has graced a number of performers and major companies with his innovative moves and one-of-a kind choreography such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce, Usher, Gloria Estefan, Missy Elliot, Jennifer Lopez and Black Eyed Peas. 

Flii’s on-screen talents landed him a role in The Vertigo Films production Street Dance 2 as the character Vince. His lyrical skills were demonstrated on the movie’s soundtrack and in more than half of the soundtrack for the David LaChapelle’s American documentary Rize, which explores the dance form known as “krumping”. Rize was produced by Lions Gate Entertainment. Flii wrote and performed all 10 tracks on the soundtrack including “Rize”.
