Nicole Kidman And Ketih Urban

Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman's marriage to Country music singer Keith Urban has already faced its ultimate test, his alcohol problems forced the then-newlyweds to go "to hell and back." Only months after her famed 2006 wedding to the Country star, Urban checked himself into rehab to deal with ongoing alcohol issues, and now Kidman reveals she feels as if she and her husband went through 10 years of marriage in just a short few months. She tells Parade magazine, "We were thrown into his alcohol problem three months into the marriage, and that was big. We became the closest we could become, because we had to bare our souls. We did 10 years of marriage in three months. You go to hell and back with this. When the addiction takes control of the life, it's terrifying."Urban spent six months trying to beat alcoholism and now Kidman feels proud of the effort her man made to change his life. She adds, "There is hope, and we work on it every day, and we are in a place of actual peace right now, which is a beautiful place."I love him so deeply, and he has done an amazing amount of work, and he is an amazing husband, and I am just very, very grateful."Kidman also says that motherhood has turned her into a sobbing wreck, she weeps just thinking about her little baby girl. The Aussie actress, gave birth to Sunday Rose last July and she still can't believe she's a mom after a series of false hopes and a horrible miscarriage. She tells Parade magazine, "I'm raw and emotional. I cry even thinking of her, but they are tears of joy."I never thought I would get to have it. To have been given it so late in life I'm so ready for it."And I think giving birth to a child, as a woman, is what we're born to do. I don't mean that to sound sexist, because many women don't get to do it, and I thought I was one of them."If you are given that gift, it's an extraordinary thing."

Sarah Silverman was left very embarrassed on ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show on Thursday, when the television host screened lost footage of his former girlfriend singing in a talent contest when she was just a teen. Silverman and Kimmel pretended to be awkward around each other as their interview started, but things really got uncomfortable when the host revealed he had a clip of his ex performing on a local Massachusetts talent show, called "Community Auditions." Silverman denied all knowledge of the contest and urged her ex to move on with his questions, but Kimmel revealed he had footage and then showed it. The very Stunned Silverman said, "You're a [bleep] [bleep]," after the clip, adding, "I can't believe that exists."The interview continued until the comedienne addressed the real issue, adding, "They wanna know that you and I went out and then we broke up ... Don't you feel like a fraud just talking about just shooting the [bleep]."And when Silverman asked, "When we were split, did you kiss anyone else?" a speechless Kimmel simply showed the footage from the talent contest again.

Last week was a huge surprise. Publicist Linda Shafran from The Jerry Springer Show and the new hit The Steve Wilkos Show, called me and asked me to do some photos of Wilkos while he was in New York City last week to appear on the WB Network. Even know I was in a bad mood because I was turning 49 years old, I told her to have Steve to pick me up at the Times Square Gossip offices and we could do some press photos and then go for dinner and drinks at The Waverly Inn in the West Village. I then called public relations bigwig Claire O'Connor and asked her if she would like to join us. She hesitated, but then said she would come and to pick her up at her apartment and we all could all go out on the town. So, we limo it down to the Waverly Inn and we are having a few drinks and Claire comes running up and say's Angelina Jolie is at the Cutting Room on West 24th street and we should head over there. So we get into the Limo, I quickly call my Buzz Foto photographer Justin Campbell and TMZ's Vincent Vilela to tip them off, not knowing that they were waiting at the Cutting Room for me to arrive. We get to the club, I walk in the club, everyone starts taking photos of me and singing Happy Birthday and all I could think was I just walked in on Angelina's party or something. I tried to leave the club and Claire O'Connor shoved me back in the door. Then I looked around and saw all my friends. I was in shock. Rita Cosby along with Tomaczek Bednarek and longtime friends April Sandmeyer, W, and Ian Miller and Claire O'Connor had worked with Linda Shafran and Steve Wilkos to throw a surprise bash for me at the famed Cutting Room. I could not believe they were able to pull it off without me knowing anything. They worked with Cutting Room owner Steve Walter and they threw a bash like I never saw. My friends were all there, including Silvia Miles, Alistair Duncan, Vinny Parco, Robin Byrd, The Pascha David Salidor and many more. The club was packed. I never knew so many people cared. It was really a night I will never forget. Thanks to all who attended and thanks to Gypsy Impalla and Charlie Ruppman from the New York Daily News who had famed sports artist Bill Gallo draw a painting of me that was incredible. There are two many people to mention, but thank you to everyone !

Britney Spears

Toxic singer Britney Spears will remain under her father's conservatorship on a permanent basis, a Los Angeles California judge has ruled. Jamie Spears was put in charge of the pop stars estate and personal affairs in February following her very public meltdown. The conservatorship was originally due to end on December 31st, but Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled on Tuesday that Jamie will stay on indefinitely as co-conservator, with attorney Andrew Wallet. The decision comes after Spears' lawyers put forward the court motion. Her court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham told the judge: "I've met several times with (Britney) and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship."Goetz concluded that the permanent conservatorship was "necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence."It is claimed that Spears hopes the move will help her to regain custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Comic Denis Leary has apologized for his very mean remarks against children suffering with autism, insisting his quotes were taken out of context by the press. The actor sparked outrage among activists for young autism sufferers when an excerpt from his book "Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid" was printed in a newspaper earlier this month. In the book, Leary claims some parents use the brain development disorder as an excuse to explain their children's "laziness," and blames the surge in autism on "inattentive mothers and competitive dads." But Leary has taken a step back since landing in hot water over the remarks. He tells the Boston Herald, "I apologize for any pain the out-of-context quotes from my book may have caused."

The relationship between the couple, famed for their heated on-air debates over their political views, has reportedly become so strained that they have been involved in screaming matches backstage.According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the animosity between the pair "has gotten so ugly, they only speak on air or when a camera is anywhere in their vicinity." The rumors stem from the pair's angry conversations about the forthcoming presidential elections. Hasselbeck is a staunch Republican and John McCain supporter, while Behar is backing Democratic candidate Barack Obama. But a spokesperson for the popular ABC program refutes the claims, insisting rumors of a feud between the two hosts have been around since they started the show. The representative tells, "These fabricated rumors about alleged dissension between Elisabeth and Joy are as untrue today as they were yesterday, a week ago and when the rumor(s) first started." Jury selection has begun in the trial of Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves after a paparazzo accused him of negligence behind the wheel of his expensive car. Celebrity Photographer Alison Silva filed a suit against Reeves claiming the Speed actor knocked him to the ground in March 2007 with his black Porsche car. Silva alleges the ordeal left him out of work for several months and cost him $40,000 in medical bills to treat his injuries, and also claims he now needs $50,000 of bone graft surgery on his left wrist. Reeves’ lawyer, Alfred Gerisch, insists the photographer tripped over his own feet, telling the court the case is one of "overly aggressive paparazzi bent on getting a photograph of a celebrity at any cost, even if it puts the paparazzo’s own safety at risk". Both Reeves and Silva are expected to testify in the estimated five-day trial.
