“The Greatest Love Story Ever Told” hit the stage at The Beacon Theater in New York for eight performances and you have only two days left to catch this wonderful show. The play reveals the unruly side of relationships and exposes the drama of getting married while uncovering the drama that occurs when something totally unexpected happens. It attests to the undeniable power of love and its ability to bring families together, despite disaster and their differences. Written by the late Jack Weinberger, son of television producer and writer Ed Weinberger (“Taxi” & “The Cosby Show”) who is also co-writer and lead producer. “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told” utilizes humor to portray the obstacles found in any relationship and to show the strength of love throughout the times.
The all Star cast includes Richard Roundtree (“Shaft” & “Roots”), Anna Maria Horsford (“Amen” & “The Wayans Brothers”), Miguel A. Nunez Jr. (“Sparks” & “Juwanna Mann”), Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel Air”), and Clifton Davis (“That’s My Mama” & “Amen”).
