JOELY RICHARDSON LEAVING NIP & TUCK


Joely Richardson has quit 'Nip/Tuck' to care for her daughter.The British actress, who earned 5 million a year playing Julia McNamara in the hit US TV show, has revealed she is turning her back on Hollywood and returning to the UK. Joely's daughter Daisy, 15, was diagnosed with a rare medical condition which makes her veins less efficient at circulating blood to the heart, when she was a baby. Daisy is facing more surgery after her condition worsened. Joely, who is divorced from Daisy's father Tim Bevan, revealed to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "We were always told she would need more surgery when she got older. The time has come."What the future holds nobody can say. It's all up in the air. And I don't know if I will ever be in Hollywood again. I love my work but I had to be in two places at once. I thought, 'If it were all over tomorrow, what would Iregret?' It would have been not being there for Daisy. It had to be done but it was scary."The 41-year-old, who previously spent six months living in Los Angeles and six months in London, admitted she was terrified of telling the 'Nip/Tuck'producers. She said: "I thought, 'Oh my god, are they going to sue me?'"'Nip/Tuck' creator Ryan Murphy is still hoping Joely may return to the show. Ryan said: "I don't want to do the show without her. The dynamic of everything will change."
