Robin Wright Penn Robin Wright Penn is very angry the details of her divorce have leaked to the press, because she feels two celebrities should be allowed to end their marriage respectfully. The actress filed for divorce from loser Sean Penn in August. Robin is furious total strangers can read about the personal details of their breakup in gossip magazines. She tells Redbook magazine , "It never feels good. Yes, it's divorce; it's a given that it will be public. But... it's so disrespectful: 'You're an actress, you owe us this?' Robin Wright Penn Robin Wright Penn is following through with her promise to end her marriage to Sean Penn, the actress has filed for divorce. They began divorce proceedings in December 2007 only to officially end their separation four months later, and in April, the actor filed papers for a "legal separation," just days before the couple's 13th wedding anniversary. According to People.com , Wright Penn is now officially calling it quits, and filed court documents of her own on August 12th. The actress also hinted at a split in a new interview with More magazine, insisting she had no plans to reconcile with her husband. She says, "I hit that crossroad a while ago.
