**** TIMES SQUARE GOSSIP TRAVEL **** Jordan Sparks The Venetian ® and The Palazzo ® Las Vegas are thrilled to announce Grammy-nominated and platinum recording artist, Jordin Sparks, will perform live during the kick-off ceremony for Winter in Venice T, the first true celebration of the holiday season on the Las Vegas Strip. The complimentary festive event will take place on Monday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the front exterior of The Venetian and open to the public. **** THE LAS VEGAS GOSSIP **** Erik Kabik Las Vegas-based photographer Erik Kabik and friends will celebrate the release of Classic Rock For The Future Vol. I: The Photography of Erik Kabik with a party Wednesday, August 31, at the John Varvatos store in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where Kabik's work is on permanent display in The Joint. In addition to several corporate, nightclub and hotel clients, Kabik is Las Vegas' leading celebrity photographer and is the Las Vegas director for the independent photo agency Retna. His subjects have included Robert DeNiro, Barack Obama, Carlos Santana and the Rolling Stones. Classic Rock For The Future Vol. I is, as the title implies, a collection of his portraits of musicians. Kabik is giving 10 percent of the book sales at the event to the Artists 4 Kidz Initiative of the Clark County, NV, Pubic Education Foundation.
