Jean Shafiroff was in fashion wearing a gown designed by Peter Copping for Oscar de la Renta. Ms. Shafiroff was on her way to the Horticulture Society Gala which honored Peter Copping, the designer of her gown.

The other honoree for the Horticulture Society was Mary Van Pelt.
