Former Troubled singing star Britney Spears' publicist is hitting back at reports the singer is dating rocker Benji Madden. Britney was said to have grown close to the Good Charlotte rocker after they were introduced to each other by her manager Larry Rudolph, who has been helping her to find a new boyfriend, according to media reports. In Touch Weekly magazine reported the pair shared dinner at a Los Angeles California hotel, and have seen each other several times since, with an unnamed source adding, "They've been on a few dates. She appears to like Benji a lot, and he seems to really like her." But Spears' publicist Holly Shakoor has dismissed the gossip reports. She tells E! News: "The claims made by In Touch are completely false. There is not an ounce of truth to any of it." Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are celebrating after raising $10,000 towards a $35,000 kids playground in just a week.The Hollywood couple launched the Text CHILD to 90999 campaign, as part of the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation, at the beginning of last week and they’re almost a third of the way towards the goal already.The money from the initiative will help fund a state-of-the-art playground for kids at the Beyond Shelter in Los Angeles California. Reality television star Paris Hilton has set herself a baby deadline. She wants to start a family with boyfriend Benji Madden by next year. The socialite has been dating the Good Charlotte rocker for three months, but already has marriage and babies on her mind. And although she insists she is not currently pregnant, Hilton admits she hopes to be with child in 12 months' time. She tells Britain's Heat magazine, "I do want a baby. Pretty soon.
