Highlighted by the beautiful summer sky, the sold-out event was a tremendous success with many invited guests bringing their own dogs which only added to the fun evening. Military working dogs, who so valiantly serve alongside our troops to keep them safe from IEDs and other dangers, are too often retired overseas and are not able to be brought home to the loving homes of their former handlers. The celebrity philanthropist was spotted being affectionately kissed by fashion designers, Malan Breton and Zang Toi outside The Mark Hotel in New York City on a hot night in mid-July. Reportedly, Jean Shafiroff was dining with Malan Breton when Zang Toi came by  with friend, Patrick Michael. Both fashion designers were in New York working on their Fall 2021 Fashion Shows.  Jean  Shafiroff was in New York for an interview for a new magazine cover feature to come out in Fall 2021.   The three good friends all managed to have a little fun moment together. Modern American artist and designer, Walter Sternlieb, has opened the Hampton's hottest new gallery, and it is part of the village’s strong legacy with backing of curated collaborations in the community. Located at 60 Jobs Lane, A is for Art brings to life the prolific vision of Walter, who is known out east as a respected designer, builder, woodworker, and master craftsman. Now his latest title as industrial artist will only further plant his applaudable achievements. His charismatic work on display was brought forth by ingenuity and creativity. “I woke up one morning with this idea of a 3-dimensional flag, made a prototype of it, then built it, painted it and hung it,” states Walter.   Jean Shafiroff  American Humane, the nation’s first national humane organization, today announced that their Feed the Hungry COVID-19 fund reached its goal of raising $1 million to feed a million animals in need. The program was launched to feed and care for animals across the country who were abandoned during the coronavirus crisis. Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, who is an American Humane board member, has been the national spokesperson for the Feed the Hungry campaign and has hosted several fundraisers since its launch.
