NYC KEY FOOD - URBAN MARKET SUPERMARKET MANAGER SAYS NO FOOD DELIVERIES GUARANTEED

Image
Coronavirus Bare Food Shelves Key Food - Urban Market I spoke to the manager of the Key Food - Urban Markets today and asked about food deliveries to re-stock their shelves. No matter what the Criminal And Chief Donald Trump say's, there is no guarantee that more food and supplies will be coming to the shelves of stores.  On a visit today to our Urban Market, the shelves was just empty. I asked about food deliveries and the manager said Key Food refuses to guarantee any deliveries.  On another note, all New York City Restaurants have been ordered closed and schools are now closed.  Mayor Bill de Blasio ordered that all bars, restaurants and cafes in New York City to close starting on Tuesday due to the Coronavirus outbreak.  It was unclear how long the closure would take place. "Our lives are all changing in ways that were unimaginable just a week ago. We are taking a series of actions that we never would have taken otherwise in an effort to save

The special exhibits gallery is on display from February 11 to April 18, 2020. Many of the couture objects in Ballerina: Fashion’s Modern Muse were designed and made in Paris. The exhibition also presents the idea of the ballerina as a “woman of style.” Over one dozen ensembles by Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Halston and worn by stars such as Margot Fonteyn, Alicia Markova, Maria Tallchief, Virginia Johnson, along with Maribel Lieberman’s gown, illustrate the important role fashion played in the ballerina’s career. While the exhibition presents the international impact of ballet on fashion, it also addresses the lack of diversity in both creative fields. In order to expand knowledge about pioneering ballerinas who broke barriers

NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL SPEAKER COREY JOHNSON STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS

Image
COREY JOHNSON (FILE PHOTO) NEW YORK CITY -- I agree with the decision to ban large scale gatherings in New York City, as I called for yesterday. Life is going to have to change for some period of time in order to better control this outbreak. This is no longer business as usual. It is time for a more aggressive strategy and measures to address the COVID-19 pandemic. I know many of the measures required of us will hurt people’s livelihoods. There will be an economic impact on places like our theaters and concert venues, movie theaters, gyms and sporting arenas, not for profits and other public gathering places. The City must take actions to give them relief. To start, the Council is looking at creating a fund to help people and businesses impacted. The Council will also be coming out with policies to help protect and provide essential services for the most vulnerable New Yorkers, including individuals without homes, prison populations, elderly New Yorkers, senior ce

TAX COALITION TELLS CONGRESS: POORLY TARGETED TAX CUTS NOT A RESPONSE TO COVID-19 EMERGENCY

Image
Insane Donald Trump Washington, D.C.— A diverse coalition of national groups cautioned Congress today not to use the novel coronavirus emergency as an excuse to lavish more tax cuts on the wealthy and corporations or to enact payroll tax cuts. The 13 initial letter signers argued in a letter to the House and Senate for “an aggressive response to the economic and societal impact of the novel coronavirus outbreak, but caution[ed] against allowing this national emergency to be used to demand tax cuts that will be poorly targeted, lack the biggest bang-for-the-buck and favor those families that have the most resources to weather the crisis.” Other groups are expected to sign the letter in coming days. The groups also wrote: “Such undesirable tax strategies also include payroll tax cuts. They would provide little immediate stimulus to the economy because they would be relatively inefficient and paid out in small increments over time. Moreover, payroll tax cuts provide the

I think people are starting to recognize all over the country that this is no joke.” “There can be a fine line between what is precaution, right, what is taking precaution and what is panic. DONALD J. TRUMP & CORONAVIRUS WARNINGS POSTED BY NEW YORK CITY LANDLORDS IN LOBBIES

Image
Coronavirus NYC Warning NYC Landlords Coronavirus Warnings New York City landlords started the other day putting up Coronavirus warnings along with hand washing sanitizer in all the lobbies throughout many buildings and sending out e-mails to residents.  Many New Yorker's are in a panic. I can not tell you how many people I know that have a running nose or cough and they are running to the emergency room. People are also not taking the Governors advice to call the hospitals first, so they know your coming and can prepare. This way you do not walk into a crowded hospital and infect everyone or maybe become infected. Donald J. Trump is a moron. I have known this man for over 35 years. I was able to ignore him at photo shoots around NYC, but this man each and every day amazes me at how much dumber he has gotten. I do not know if it could be from drugs, though I have heard the rumors over the years or is he just losing his mind. Remember Trump gutted the CDC and othe
