Considering that most of New York City's cables are underground, this is not right. From speaking to customer representatives, I have a strange feeling that they cut out the service on purpose, to save their equipment like the MTA. This in a time of a emergency, is unthinkable.  If you lose some equipment in a emergency to keep your customers informed to what is happening in the city, then you are doing your job. To keep New Yorkers in the dark at the sake of saving some equipment, just really sucks. As a new Times Warner customer for only two weeks, already it is time to look for a new company that I can count on in case of emergency. Time Warner let New Yorkers down!
