**** TARGET STORES UP TO THEIR OLD TRICKS **** The Target Atlantic Avenue Store We never go out on Black Friday or even shop on Cyber Monday. What a disappointment when we went all the way out to Brooklyn on Friday to the Target store on Atlantic Avenue for our first ever Black Friday sale. Target advertised a HD television at the best price that we have ever seen before. I think it was a 42 inch HD for $459.00. They advertised Blenders and Toasters for 3 bucks. They advertised high quality towels for a couple of bucks. Since we rarely leave Manhattan, I thought at these prices, maybe I should get out our passports and hop on a subway to Brooklyn. What a huge mistake. On a cold and windy day, I arrived at the Target store and the first thing I saw when we walked in was a bunch of sales people standing around with a stack of Televisions. The British star has long talked about his desire to launch a music career, but is admitting he doesn't want to be seen as an actor-turned-pop singer. Pattinson, who recorded two songs for the "Twilight" soundtrack, is very adamant he will never use his fame from the vampire movies to bolster his music career, so he's planning to release a secret CD. He tells French magazine Paris Match, "I write songs, that's true. I'll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won't do anything. It has been a very tough year for just about everyone, including us here in the middle of Times Square. With the economy in the gutter, the banks going after everyone, even their good customers, the high unemployment rate and inflation, we are still somehow surviving in this great country. We are very lucky to live in a country where freedom exists. But Americans have to start to use their power. We must stop illegal immigration now. Illegal immigration is taking American jobs no matter what anyone is saying. They are not paying into our system and we are paying for their medical care in our hospitals. Jobs in deli's and restaurants and everywhere else are being filled by immigrants that jumped across the border to take away our livelihood.
