Richie was arrested on 11 December when she found driving her Mercedez Benz the wrong way down California State Route 134 highway in Burbank, California.After failing an on-field sobriety test, Richie admitted to having smoked marijuana and taken a vicodin painkiller.In court on Friday, Richie was fined $2,048 (£1,024) and ordered to complete a 21-day alcohol education course. She has also been placed on three years probation.Richie must serve her time in either the City or County Jail before September 28th. The jury at the PHIL SPECTOR murder trial has heard how shooting victim LANA CLARKSON told her closest friend she "wanted out" just days before her death. Punkin Irene Elizabeth Laughlin - known as Punkin Pie - told the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing how Clarkson complained about her life in Hollywood during a telephone conversation. Laughlin told the court Clarkson was normally a positive person but the last time she spoke with her friend, the actress told her, "I can’t take it anymore.I’m sick of this town. I want out." Her testimony supports the defence’s argument Clarkson was suicidal when she went to the music producer’s Alhambra, California home in 2003. Spector is accused of the fatal shooting of Clarkson at his mansion in February 2003. He has pleaded not guilty and claims Clarkson committed suicide.The trial continues.

KELLY is to shoot another 10 episodes of his TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET drama after signing a new deal with U.S. cable network IFC.The singer has already enjoyed chart success with his ‘hiphopera’, which was accompanied by a short film, in which he starred as ladies’ man Sylvester.The film then became a 12-episode DVD last year and now Kelly has struck a deal with IFC to shoot an additional 10 episodes of his sage of infidelity.Bosses at the cable network also plan to air the original 12 episodes.
