Pop singer Madonna moved from New York to London, because New York City has lost its status as the world’s cultural capital.The Michigan native moved to New York as a 19-year-old in 1977 and lived in the big city for much of her successful career, only relocating to London in 1997 after falling in love with British film maker Guy Ritchie, who she wed three years later. Now Madonna has revealed she turned her back on Manhattan because the city is no longer the vibrant center of the arts it once was. She tells Vanity Fair magazine, "New York City is not the same place it used to be. It still has great energy. Simpson spokeswoman Lauren Auslander said the 27-year-old singer-actress is feeling "much better now."According reports, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Simpson's current squeeze, wanted to be by Simpson's side but had prior commitments in Dallas. The coroner presiding over the inquest into the death of Princess Diana has told a London court there is "no evidence" to suggest she was murdered.The British royal and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed in a Paris, France car crash in 1997.Fayed’s father, business mogul Mohamed Al Fayed, is convinced the couple was murdered, and, during his testimony at the High Court in February, maintained his belief that they were assassinated by British security services acting on the orders of Prince Philip, the husband of British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.The inquest aims to establish whether Diana and Dodi were the victims of an accident, or if they were the targets of an assassination plot headed by the British royal family, as claimed by Al Fayed. Amy Winehouse Wild rehab singer Amy Winehouse has been offered a lucrative deal with the top fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. Winehouse is alleged to be on the verge of signing a contract with the Italian fashion mogul, meaning she would receive a constant supply of his garments in return for her agreeing to wear them to public functions and events. More than $10,000 were caused when the inferno ripped through the second floor deck of Clancy’s house on Chesapeake Bay, near Washington D.C on Saturday. Angela Lansbury A New York City apartment complex that has had its share of actors and artists in its hallways will be the subject of a new documentary. The New York Post says in its Sunday edition that "The Miracle on 42nd Street" will celebrate Manhattan Plaza, a two-building complex that has been home to all kinds of artistic folk including Alicia Keys and Angela Lansbury as well as Elizabeth Taylor's daughter Maria Burton. The documentary is being put together by a group of filmmakers. Actor Christian Slater's mother says people are eager to participate. Mary Jo Slater lived there from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Many celebrities still live there today.

Sexy singer Ricky Martin has travelled to Cambodia to help in the fight against child trafficking.The good hearted Latin singing star arrived in the country on Wednesday and has already visited various projects run by non-governmental organizations fighting child trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. Angel Saltos, executive director of the Ricky Martin Foundation, says, "This is a fact-finding mission for us. He wanted to see for himself." Martin learned of Cambodia’s child trafficking problems last February during a three-day United Nations conference in Vienna. He joined actress Emma Thompson and Egyptian first lady Suzanne Mubarak in calling for action. Nice to see a celebrity really doing something good. Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden really regrets acting like a diva at the start of his solo career and is now realizing his behavior was "arrogant".The Irish hit singer left the boy band in 2004 to pursue a solo career, and was delighted when his first single Real To Me topped charts around the world. But McFadden admits he allowed success to "go to (his) head" and take advantage of the things he missed out on while he was in the band. He says, "I was very arrogant."I had to have first-class flights for me and my team that I didn’t need, but I wanted to take advantage for the things they’d done in the past."I even had a hairdresser on a retainer of $200,000 a year. It was ridiculous."
