NYPD HELICOPTER USED BY MAYOR I am very perplexed why Mayor de Blasio would use a New York City Police Department Helicopter at taxpayer expense to get around. Early evening the police department cleared Hunter's Point South Park with no explanation as to why. Imagine my surprise when a NYPD Helicopter landed in the park and Mayor de Blasio got out and headed to a two limo entourage.  With police guarding the entrance to the park and two limos for the Mayor, I am very surprised we use city resources like this, all at taxpayer expense.
