Jorge Garcia, the undocumented father of two deported to Mexico this week, speaks out along with his family.


On why Jorge was deported


"The system failed us." Jorge's wife, Cindy Garcia said. "It's a broken immigration system and it needs to be fixed."


On their family's dread knowing Jorge's deportation date was coming.


"We didn't want to let him go." Jorge's wife and children emotionally share their experience: "It was devastating, because we knew our nightmare was coming to life... We were grieving. It was a death."


Jorge's message to Pres. Trump


"We're supposed to only deport people that are criminals. That's not what's going on. They're only basically hurting the economy and separating families just like mine."


On losing the family's primary source of income


"God is gonna pull me through this." Cindy discussed how she will support her family after her husband Jorge, who has been the family's primary source of income, was been deported to Mexico. "[God has] given me the power to speak up for everybody."
