RYAN REYNOLDS 'CRAZY EXPERIENCE' OF FATHERHOOD

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds is opening up about the "crazy experience" of fatherhood!

The 38-year-old actor, who welcomed baby daughter James with wife Blake Livelythree months ago, says he's "totally" in zombie mode all the time because he's not getting very much sleep at home.

"There have been times where I woke up, literally had no idea I had been walking for five minutes," the hunky star told E! News exclusively while promoting his new movie Woman in Gold. "But you love it. You wake up in the middle of the night, you got a big stupid smile on your face. I was telling someone else that. Anything else that woke you up every 45 minutes, you'd kill it. But when it's a baby, it's the best thing that ever happened to you."

Reynolds added of sleepless little James, "Right now the baby's training us so I think we gotta turn the tables on this one."

Reynolds also reiterated what he recently told Jimmy Fallon about James' birth making his relationship with Lively even more meaningful. "When that happens you fall so much more in love with your partner. It's a pretty crazy experience," he gushed. "What blows my mind is that it's so common yet it's so profound at the same time. Something so many people do."

Speaking of James' birth, Reynolds' character in Woman in Gold misses his child's birth because of a controversial court case he's hired to argue. "I know Randy was committed to this cause missing his child's birth. You would need wild horses and several bulldozers to pull me away from that. I could not miss that," Reynolds said.
