About Michael McDonald:

Five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald is still revered as one of the most distinctive and popular vocalists to emerge from the laid-back California pop/rock scene of the late 70’s. Known for his husky, soulful baritone, Michael has a way of combining rock and soul into his performances.

Before he became a solo artist, Michael was a member of one of the most popular California rock/pop bands of the 70’s, The Doobie Brothers. Together, they racked up a string of gold and platinum albums in the U.S. with radio hits such as "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," and "China Grove." Michael McDonald’s contributions as a co-writer and lead vocalist of the band were significant as he helped with the success of their hit songs, "What a Fool Believes" and "Minute by Minute." 1979 was a turning point for them resulting in 4 Grammy wins that year.

Michael’s solo career spawned mega hits such as, "I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near)" and "Yah Mo B There" a duet with James Ingram, "Yah Mo B There,"won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1984.

Since his success with his first debut album, Michael has released seven more albums. From singing on Aretha Franklin’s minor hit "Ever Changing Times" to touring with Donald Fagen’s New York Rock and Soul Revue, Michael has a long list of accomplishments that’s waiting for more.

About Toto:

Formed by band members in high school, Toto rose to fame with the help of David Paich, Steve Lukather, Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro, David Hungate and Jeff Porcaro. Toto’s self-titled debut album skyrocketed to the Top Ten, and became a multi platinum success. Toto continued to release top-selling albums such as "Hydra," "Turn Back," "Toto IV" and "Isolation" to name a few. The band’s well-earned six Grammy Awards certainly speak for themselves. The Los Angeles natives heavily influenced mainstream pop music of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s by combining pop, rock, and disco elements into their music.
