Gangs In Gantry & Hunters Point South Park A ongoing problem at Gantry and Hunters Point South Parks with gang graffiti is causing major concern with residents of the area.  Almost every night hordes of people descend on the parks and the morning brings huge amounts of litter as well as gang related graffiti. The latest which looks like a MS13 tag was found last week at Gantry Park. It has since been removed, but the persistence of the night time crowds brings more problems for the residents of the area.  The police departments anti-graffiti squad have been notified and are looking into the latest vandalism that seems to be a nightly event. Her death was announced by her husband’s office on Tuesday in a statement saying, “A former First Lady of the United States of America and relentless proponent of family literacy, Barbara Pierce Bush passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the age of 92.” “She is survived by her husband of 73 years, President George H. W. Bush; five children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and her brother Scott Pierce. She was preceded in death by her second child, Pauline “Robin” Bush, and her siblings Martha Rafferty and James R. Pierce.”

Paradise Blue The Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Paradise Blue by Obie Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson has been extended one week, the company announced today.
