Bernie Sanders Yesterday on ABC’s “The View” Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator Bernie Sanders sat down with the co-hosts for his first interview following his New Hampshire primary win. The Vermont senator discussed his victory and keeping momentum alive, education, Wall Street, gun control, the Flint water crisis and reaching out to the African American community. He also said some nice things about his opponents, tried his very own ice cream flavor for the first time and shot some hoops with the co-hosts. Senator Sanders’ wife, Jane Sanders also spoke with co-hosts about Donald Trump. Katharine McPhee Katharine McPhee's six-year marriage to Nick Cokas is officially over. The Scorpion star filed for divorce from her husband in May 2014 after having already been separated for a year and now, close to two years later, a judge has signed off on their split agreement. According to court documents filed Monday in L.A. Superior Court, McPhee must pay Cokas $102,616 within the next few days, and he will thereafter receive spousal support of up to $400,000 a year, or a prorated $33,333 a month on a sliding scale. McPhee will get to keep all of the furniture, artwork and personal effects in her possession, including a 2013 Mercedes M Class SUV. Moreover, she'll hang onto various bank accounts and insurance policies, as well as certain music and TV rights. You need money when you're in prison. You need money unfortunately. Your family members send it in. You're allowed to spend $180 every two weeks." Joseph Gordon-Levitt LOS ANGELES — Actor and filmmaker Joseph Gordon-Levitt launched a new community-sourced video project the other day with his production company hitRECord and the American Civil Liberties Union, putting out a call for people to submit videos with their takes on the connections between technology and democracy. The submissions will be used for a series of collaborative short films about the subject. Gordon-Levitt, who stars in the upcoming Oliver Stone film “Snowden” as the NSA whistleblower, said that he is donating his entire acting fee from the movie to help facilitate the conversation about technology and democracy. Part of the fee will compensate those individuals whose contributions wind up being used in the finished hitRECord production. The remainder will be given to the ACLU to support the organization’s work on free speech and digital privacy rights.
