The show premiered on E! network over the weekend. And Michael Lohan, who has opposed the show since its inception, is making sure his rantings are heard in his column for OK! magazine. TOM CRUISE ON DIRECTOR SYDNEY POLLACK

Hollywood star Tom Cruise is paying a tribute to The Firm director Sydney Pollack, admitting he will "miss him dearly". Pollack died aged 73 yesterday, after a nine-month battle with cancer at his home in Pacific Palisades, in Los Angeles California. And Cruise, who worked with the director on 1993’s The Firm and Eyes Wide Shut in 1998, remembers the star as an unpretentious man. He says, "Throughout the years, unpretentious and never condescending, he shared with me what he loved about family, storytelling, food, flying and a great bottle of vino (wine)." Cruise also looks back fondly on their first meeting, when Pollack patiently answered an up-and-coming Cruise’s eager questions for six-hours, even though he was busy editing his comedy classic Tootsie. AWARD WINNING SYDNEY POLLACK DEAD

Academy Award-winning director Sydney Pollack of "Out of Africa" who achieved acclaim making popular, mainstream movies with A-list stars, including "The Way We Were" and "Tootsie," died today. He was 73. Pollack, who also was a producer and actor, died of cancer at his home in Pacific Palisades, according to Leslee Dart, his publicist and friend. Singing star Beyonce Knowles has reportedly been approached to replace Rehab singer Amy Winehouse and record the theme song for the forthcoming James Bond picture. Winehouse was rumored to have been dropped as the film’s official musical muse after DJ Mark Ronson told reporters he had scrapped his 007 collaboration with the singer, because she was not "ready" to work on music after a recent return to her erratic ways. But on Saturday, Winehouse confirmed that she has, in fact, completed the song, although she is unsure whether movie bosses will choose to green-light the track for use in the latest super spy offering. Now industry insiders claim Knowles has become the favorite to record the title track - although her representatives have yet to comment on any of the rumors.

Paul McCartney Beatle Paul McCartney can now add doctor to his resume, after receiving an honorary degree from one of America’s oldest and most iconic universities.The singing icon was presented with the Doctor of Music accolade by top staff at Connecticut’s Yale University, the third oldest education institution in the United States, on Monday, in acknowledgement of his musical achievements to date in his 48-year career.In the award ceremony, university leaders credited McCartney with having "awakened a generation, giving a fresh sound to rock, roll, rhythm and blues".Others who have conferred honorary degrees from the university include British astronomer Martin Rees, Argentine architect Cesar Pelli and American poet John Lawrence Ashbery.

English soccer star Beckham was voted top of a poll of male celebrities by OK! Magazine, which aimed to find America’s top "man candy". Dessarae Bradford was exonerated from all hooker accusations in a Los Angeles California court last week. Delighted Bradford says, "The jury took a little over an hour to reach their unanimous decision, and I have been cleared of all charges." Since her arrest last November, Bradford has reported the officer who landed her in trouble. She says, "He is still now under investigation by internal affairs because of this matter."My brilliant attorney, Jessica Canada, and I are now preparing the civil court documents required to now sue the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) for $20 million, because of the public defamation, false arrest, profiling, racism and other police misconducts that I experienced and that I am still emotionally disturbed by."The court papers will be filed against the LAPD this month."
