SAMUEL WAXMAN CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION KIDS CANCEL CANCER HAMPTONS EVENT

  Marion Waxman And Dr Samuel Waxman The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) held the 4th Annual Kids Cancel Cancer, a unique fundraiser created by kids for kids, at The Clubhouse in East Hampton. This fun-filled evening featured delicious food, arcade games, miniature golf, exciting live and silent auctions, and more — all to raise critical funds for pediatric cancer research, which on the day were matched dollar for dollar by the Mark Foundation for Cancer Research. Since its inception, Kids Cancel Cancer has empowered young people to become philanthropists and advocates for change. The 2025 event raised nearly $100,000 (not counting the one-for-one match by the Mark Foundation), directly supporting the work of four groundbreaking investigators focused on childhood cancers. ELLEN & CHUCK SCARBOROUGH HONORED BY ANIMAL RESCUE FUND OF THE HAMPTONS

  Ellen Scarorough And Chuck Scarborough The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) hosted the Bow Wow Meow Ball in the William P. Rayner Training Center which honored Ellen and Chuck Scarborough with the Champion of Animals Award in recognition of their more than twenty-five years of loyal support to ARF and their compassion towards animals in need.  The celebration of ARF’s life-saving work for over 50 years took place on the 22-acre campus in East Hampton where over 400 guests from New York City and the Hamptons enjoyed cocktails, followed by dinner catered by Olivier Cheng within an elegant setting. More than 400 guests filled the sold-out summer benefit, which combined cocktails, dancing, and gourmet bites with an urgent mission: advancing science-backed strategies to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Founded in 2019, the Fork It Fund has now raised $4 million to support cutting-edge prevention research and amplify awareness about the disease, which impacts over 7 million Americans — including 426,500 in New York state.
