 Alec Baldwin

This year, at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, the talk of the town was the filming of Alec Baldwin’s new documentary, Seduced and Abandoned. Baldwin, with director James Toback, producer Michael Mailer, explored the trials and tribulations of financing a film.

 Eva Longoria

Denise Rich
The Seduced and Abandoned crew filmed at the hottest Cannes parties including the Eva Longoria dinner aboard Denise Rich’s yacht, and the Vanity Fair Party at Hotel Du Cap. While filming, Baldwin interviewed several Hollywood elite including Brett Ratner, James Woods, Lawrence Bender, Diane Kruger, and Bérénice Bejo. Also on set, Roman Polanski was filmed on set overlooking the Croisette, and Vanity Fair’s own Graydon Carter was interviewed at Hotel Du Cap. Mayor of Cannes Bernard Brochand, Taki Theodoracopulos and General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival Theirry Frémaux also made appearances. Although Johnny Pigozzi did not allow the crew at his exclusive lunch, he was also interviewed for the film at his home. In addition, Baldwin presented Cristina Flutur and Cosmina Stratan from Dupã Dealuri with the award for ‘Best Actress’ at the 65th Festival de Cannes Awards Closing Ceremony.

Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas hosted an exclusive dinner at Baoli restaurant, for executive producers Michelle & Larry Herbert, Stacey & Neal Schneider, and Marla & Alan Helene.

James Caan

The party isn’t over for Mailer, Toback and Baldwin. In New York, the A-team interviewed Ron Meyer, President & COO of Universal Studios and in Los Angeles, author and screenwriter Diablo Cody, actor James Caan, and Producer Mike Medavoy. Seduced and Abandoned is set to continue filming in New York, Los Angeles and Napa and the movie is anticipated to be released in 2013.
