AMY WINEHOUSE STARTS RECORD COMPANY

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse is reportedly investing $1.5 million to launch her own record label in a bid to make her 12-year-old goddaughter a teen singing star. Dionne Bromfield shot into the limelight when a brief recording of her singing as Winehouse played the guitar appeared on video-sharing website YouTube last May. Amy is so confident that Bromfield has what it takes to be a huge success, she has allegedly founded new label Lioness to help begin the youngster’s career.Bromfield says, "I had a lot of record companies wanting to sign me but I didn’t know where to go. So for Amy to set up this record company and make me her first signing means so much." Winehouse has collaborated with the young singer on a number of songs, co-writing and co-producing her debut album which is set to be released in March, according to Britain’s News of the World newspaper.
