Hollywood powerhouse Tom Cruise's movie studio has made a deal with striking writers after agreeing with the striking workers to allow people to go back to work on feature films.United Artists, owned by the actor and his longtime partner Paula Wagner, managed to negotiate an interim deal with the Writers Guild of America, which will see the studio resume production on a number of their new movie projects.The deal is said to be about the same as the deal made with talk show host David Letterman, who returned to the air earlier last week. Neither party has confirmed the reports, but a announcement is expected to be made on Monday according to the Daily Variety.
