HEATH LEDGER'S BODY RETURNS HOME
Naomi Watts joined the family and friends who attended a private memorial for late actor Heath Ledger in Los Angeles yesterday. The 30-minute service took place at Westwood Village Memorial Park, just hours after 1,000 guests at an Australian event in New York City listened to a message from Ledger’s father Kim, read out by Australia’s consul-general. King Kong star Watts, who dated Ledger for two years after meeting him on the set of Ned Kelly in 2002, was "visibly upset" during the memorial service, reports Australian network Channel 7. Ledger, 28, was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday. An autopsy carried out on Wednesday failed to reveal how the actor died, although police believe his death could be drug-related as sleeping pills were found by his bed. His body arrived in Perth, Australia, where he will be buried.
