PRINCE HARRY VISITS BRITISH COLONIAL HILTON
British Colonial Hilton Nassau welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales during his recent visit to celebrate the upcoming Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Harry was greeted upon arrival by British Colonial Hilton Nassau’s General Manager Pablo Torres and spent two nights at the beachfront hotel.
Prince Harry, who stayed in the Prime Minister Suite, voiced his approval of the meals provided by the hotel’s Executive Chef Kabuti Lockhart upon his departure. The British Colonial Hilton Nassau is not unfamiliar to hosting royalty, as the property accommodated Their Royal Highnesses Prince Edward and Princess Sophie in 2011.
Situated on downtown Nassau’s only private beach and the site of Old Fort Nassau, the 288-guestroom British Colonial Hilton Nassau offers a taste of the island’s rich history, along with modern amenities for both business and vacation travelers. The secluded beach overlooking the harbor is complemented by a freshwater swimming pool, fitness center, complimentary non-motorized water sports, and landscaped gardens. Dining options feature the recently renovated AQUA, a casual restaurant serving international favorites with a Caribbean flair, and Bullion, the hotel’s new chic bar, providing light snacks and creative cocktails.
In addition to the British Colonial Hilton Nassau, Hilton Worldwide has several properties in the Caribbean, including Hilton Barbados Resort, Hilton Santo Domingo, Hilton CuraƧao and Caribe Hilton, among others.
