Jesse Metcalfe wants to quit acting for music.The 'Desperate Housewives' star is planning to follow in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Nadine Coyle - who is part of British group Girls Aloud -and become a singer. Jesse told People magazine: "I'm trying to do music, actually."I've just started writing and trying to develop my sound a little bit, but it will be as a solo artist. I sing and play guitar."The 28-year-old actor attended the MAC Viva Glam party in London on Wednesday night and revealed he was in the English capital to attend some meetings with top record producers.The 'John Tucker Must Die' star spent a brief spell in rehab in March,before splitting from Nadine in April. Since arriving in London this week, Jesse has enjoyed plenty of wild partying with numerous girls at top nightspot Boujis and several clubs in seaside town Bournemouth.
