SAMUEL WAXMAN CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION HONORS ANN LIGUORI

The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) honored Ann Liguori, Host & Golf Correspondent for WFAN & CBS Sports Radio and Founder of the Ann Liguori Foundation and Ann Liguori Productions, at its 37th Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner at the scenic Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, NY. Funds raised by the event supported SWCRF cancer research programs, including the SWCRF Partnership for Aging and Cancer Research, which studies the genetic, metabolic, and environmental factors that promote increased cancer incidence among people as they age. More than 100 golfers, supporters and special guests attended the tournament, auction and dinner, which raised more than $207,000 for groundbreaking cancer research.
