PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION GALA DINNER & PRO-AM TENNIS & GOLF TOURNAMENT

  Mike Milken The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) hosted their annual Pro-Am Tennis & Golf Tournament in South Florida. The tournaments were a part of a five-day event that combines the 2023 Milken Institute South Florida Dialogues and annual Pro-Am Tournaments.  2023 is a double-anniversary for the PCF as it was both the 25th Anniversary of the PCF in Palm Beach and the 30th Anniversary year of the Foundation itself.  The Milken Institute South Florida Dialogues in Palm Beach took place over three days, which included the annual PCF Pro-Am Tennis Tournament and special golf tournament; and concluded with three days of events in Miami. The first night in Palm Beach saw a talk held at the home of Roxann Taylor before the PCF dinner at the home of Jeff and Mei Sze Greene.  The highlight of the second day was the Gala Dinner hosted by Howard and Wendy Cox and held at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium with entertainment by The Beach Boys.  The Cox Science...

Sullivan & Dr. Samuel Waxman The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) held its 39th Annual Golf Tournament at the scenic Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, NY. It was a beautiful day for a round of golf and a reception as funds raised supported the SWCRF collaborative cancer research programs, and expand its investments in funding new, more effective, and less toxic, cancer treatments.  Sadly, the incidence of cancer is increasing worldwide. It is estimated that 1.8 million Americans – or more than 4,900 every day – will receive a cancer diagnosis this year. In 2020, the SWCRF directed more than $2.2 million in donor-supported funds to fund a record 50 research scientists at some of the world’s leading research institutions. Golf Classic on Monday, June 8 in Westlake Village, CA. The annual charity golf tournament benefits the Foundation’s Catastrophic Health Fund and Emergency Assistance Program for performing artists facing life-threatening illness and severe economic hardship. Honoree Ann Liguori And Scott Vallary The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) honored Ann Liguori, Host & Golf Correspondent for WFAN & CBS Sports Radio and Founder of the Ann Liguori Foundation and Ann Liguori Productions, at its 37th Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner at the scenic Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, NY. Funds raised by the event supported SWCRF cancer research programs, including the SWCRF Partnership for Aging and Cancer Research, which studies the genetic, metabolic, and environmental factors that promote increased cancer incidence among people as they age.
