I currently landed my first cameo role in the production of the new upcoming TV show “Not Another Reality Show” which was shooting the first pilot episode in the ultra trendy Kings Cross pub beneath Antik Lounge in NYC. You might wonder what part I could possibly play. Well myself, of course. I must say it wasn’t what I expected, as I am used to television news studios. There was an extremely talented cast the director was brilliant and the crew was on point. From the moment I arrived I was wisked into makeup and a wardrobe check and pampered like a king. Until it came time to work. I was a bit nervous with all the lights microphones and cameras around I felt like I was on a movie set for a tom cruise film. It was then on to some rehearsals and blocking as they say, with my nerves in tact action was called.. Blinded by the lights and feeling the camera I began to feel a bit of comfort in my performance especially when the other actors were telling me I was doing a good job! What professionals! Its not as easy as people think, I give total credit to all the actors and directors out there because I definitely worked for my role on this one! Not Another Reality Show was an amazing experience and with all the networks interested in it I cannot wait to see it on TV in my living room where I can either squirm at my performance or gloat about it! Don’t miss out on watching this one! They will be filming all month in New York City and the series is expected to be nationwide by summer of 2010! A young New York City filmmaker, who feels creatively unfulfilled as the director of the late night stoner cooking reality show "Got Munchies?", decides to document how reality television stardom effects the actual daily lives of her co-workers. She calls her new ongoing film project "Not Another Reality Show". The filmmaker sets out to reveal the truth about her co-workers, and reality television in general, all while attempting to keep her identity hidden from the audience. Despite her efforts at maintaining anonymity, she ultimately becomes the most significant character of her own project, as she is allowing the audience to see the world from her perspective. Not Another Reality Show is the first mocumentary on reality television, where the main character is the camera operator. From day to day, she captures guerrilla footage from the lives of the inspired chef, the vain host, and the stressed out producer she works with on the culinary reality cult phenomenon "Got Munchies?"
