No offence, but I remember when this dinner was just for members in the media. It now seems that every star from Hollywood is here and I do not think that is what this event was supposed to be. We called one network newsperson at home today, and we were told it is because the media outlets try to out-do each other by inviting the biggest stars. As you can see from the photos, there seemed to be very few big media people there, but so many Hollywood stars. I was told this event was supposed to be where the media met the people that run Washington. Now it's just another Hollywood red carpet event.
