MATT DILLON FINED FOR SPEEDING IN VERMONT

Speeding Matt Dillon has been fined $828.00 after pleading guilty for speeding through Vermont in December. As part of the plea agreement, a negligent operation charge against Dillon was dropped, according to website TMZ.com. The actor was pulled over by state troopers in Newbury, Vermont on December 30th, after he was allegedly caught travelling at a speed of 106 miles per hour, more than 30 miles per hour above the 65 miles per hour speed limit. If convicted, Dillon could have faced up to a year in jail.
