SHARON STONE LOSES CUSTODY OF SON

Former star Sharon Stone has lost custody of her young son with ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Last October, a judge ruled that Stone and Bronstein, a newspaper editor, had "joint legal and physical custody" of Roan, whom they adopted together. According to documents detailing a custody hearing earlier this month, Bronstein "shall have permanent sole physical custody of child. (The) court finds that respondent Sharon Stone failed to meet her burden of proof and denies respondent’s (Stone’s) request for modification of custody." The new records, obtained by television show Entertainment Tonight, reportedly note the order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstances. The couple announced their split in 2003, after five years of marriage. Stone also has two other kids: sons Laird and Quinn, who she adopted in 2005 and 2006.
