HOUSTON wowed the crowd at THE VILLAGE UNDERGROUND Thursday night singing many songs from her debut album "SPEAK LOVE...." HOUSTON who's godmother is NANCY WILSON and family members include CISSY HOUSTON, DIONNE WARWICK and WHITNEY HOUSTON delivered a powerhouse performance proving to one and all she not only shares the family name but the family talent! Houston is backed up by a few family members as back up singers! ELIAS and HOUSTON will be playing one more show Friday March 14th at 7:30 PM at THE VILLAGE UNDERGROUND (130 West 3rd Street) 212-777-3964

She isn't related to Whitney at all. John married Alexis's mother. She is not his daughter, and was never raised with Whitney. However, she HAS attached the Houston name to herself and gone around parading it for her own personal gain. If anything, she might technically be a stepsister, but unlike she claims in interviews, they were not raised together or anything.

What difference does it make.She is beautiful, talented and obviously here boyfriend, Quentin is happy with her.

I have never seen her sing but I have heard her music and she stands strong on her own...she does not need the baggage that some of her family members bring.

I grew up with the Drinkard and Houston families and I am proud to know Alexis. Yes,she does have a different mother than Whitney but she is John Houston's daughter. She has his strong, charismatic personality and we wish her well in her career and life.

she is a man, his real name is Wellington Stuart of Nassau, Bahamas. He had a sex change a couple of years ago. His father was the late Wendel Stuart, apioneer in Bahamaina music. He has a sister who is a dentist, Dr. Wendy Stuart.
