ELISABETH HASSELBECK GUEST HOSTS AT THE VIEW TO DISCUSS CORONAVIRUS

Image
Hot Topics: Calming Coronavirus Fears After more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases in the U.S. were confirmed on Tuesday evening, the co-hosts discuss President Trump’s handling of the novel coronavirus and share what precautions they’re taking amid the outbreak. "I'm hoping that they're going to be able to get a handle on it because people are doing what they’re supposed to be doing,” adds Whoopi Goldberg. “They're washing their hands, they are self-quarantining if they feel maybe they should be. I think people are starting to recognize all over the country that this is no joke.” “There can be a fine line between what is precaution, right, what is taking precaution and what is panic. So I think a lot of it has to be decided. Yes, we're going to take precautions," says guest co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. “We have affected cases, those are serious. We've had deaths, those are serious. They're not to be taken lightly at all.” “We shouldn’t b...

JEFF PROBST TALKS HASSELBECK WITH HUFFPOST

Image
Jeff Probst These days, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is best known for her feud with Rosie O'Donnell and making questionable political statements, but before "The View" and "Fox & Friends," there was "Survivor." And it turns out she had a very different reputation in the Australian Outback. "Survivor" host Jeff Probst chatted about Hasselbeck in a Wednesday conversation on HuffPost Live , admitting that Hasselbeck was the apple of everyone's eye on the "Survivor" set. Probst: "When she was on the second season of 'Survivor,' I will tell you this: Every guy on the crew fell in love with her. Every guy. We watched this young girl mature into this fighting phenomenon, and everybody wanted to date her. They thought about marrying Elisabeth. It was all in our fantasies."

THE NEW VIEW IS THE SAME AS THE OLD VIEW

Image
**** THE GLORIOUS CORNER Story By: G. H. HARDING **** Elisabeth Hasselbeck VIEW LITE --- Know what, the new View is pretty much the same as the old View … but, not as much fun. I watched the second installment yesterday after seeing clips of the new, re-booted cast literally kissing Barbara Walters’ ring on Monday, and found Whoopi pretty much befuddled; Nicole Wallace saying she loved Rob Ford and admired any politician that could do their job high; and, the two Rosies, Perez and O’Donnell, vying for screen time. It’s just an odd, odd mix. O'Donnell even seems somewhat subdued, although when she questioned Wallace on some political point, it was almost as she was addressing the late-View panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Their first guest Kirsten Dunst had trouble even getting onstage as the chairs, now situated around a small, small white table, were poorly arranged. Even O’Donnell admitted that this was something to be fixed. Funnily enough, on...

My parents gave me the freedom to pursue passions and take sensible risks.” On getting up at 2:45 a.m. for her job: “I don’t even put one foot out of bed without reaching for my concealer.
