HAMPTONS SOCIAL & VOLVO CELEBRATE ELLEN VON UNWERTH COVER BOOK AT ROOM AT THE BEACH WITH MALFY GIN

 Hamptons Social and Volvo celebrated the launch of Hamptons Social’s August Summer Book shot by Ellen von Unwerth with a garden party at A Room at the Beach in Bridgehampton on Saturday, August 1, 2026, featuring Malfy Italian Gin.

Hosted by Hamptons Social Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Lizabeth Zindel Wells and Executive Editor Erika Katz, the evening brought together guests from fashion, media, hospitality, business, and the arts beneath the property’s towering redwood trees.

Notable VIP and influencer guests included Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Barbara Kavovit, Samantha Ettus, Marilyn Chinitz, Sandra Nunnerly, Lucy Swift Weber, Hamptons novelist Jasmin Rosemberg, Julia Krispeal, Ali Lasky, Amanda Lauren, Influencers Taylor Zhang, David wood, Ryan Lin, Kimberly yeon, Clara Zoroddu, Samantha Feigelson, Eric Andrew, Kales Liv, Sergio Farias, Molly Braun, Nijie taylor, Ella Markham, Chloe Leonik, Taryn Duffish and many more among notable Hamptons and New York social, fashion, and industry guests.  

The August issue features cover photography by Ellen von Unwerth and highlights the people, destinations, style, culture, and experiences defining summer on the East End.

An Italian summer themed Malfy Gin Italian-themed spritz cart featured the Malfy Limone Spritz featuring lemonade and Rosa Sunset Spritz featuring blood orange in beautiful custom blue glassware, which were also served throughout the evening, adding to an incredible afternoon garden party experience, transporting guests to the Italian coast while enjoying the Hamptons backdrop.

A Marc-Antoine Barrois fragrance-making station while celebrating the summer issue also hosted a personalized perfume bar with Olfactory, where guests created custom scents. FreshDirect presented a generous grazing table styled by Hamptons Gifts and Events, while Rose & Petals offered a selection of high-tea desserts, including the rose-flavored French macarons.  Guests enjoyed Mouton Cadet wines, including Mouton Cadet Rouge x Pierre, developed in collaboration with Pierre de Rothschild. 

Volvo welcomed guests with an overflowing installation of midsummer-inspired florals spilling from the rear of a Volvo, designed by Hometown Flower Co. Guests also received individualized gift bags from Volvo filled with candy from BonBon, the popular Swedish candy brand.
 
Additional experiences included jewelry from La Genovese Designs and RPZL hair accessories.

Lola Blankets brought a relaxed layer to the lounge areas, with plush blankets and coordinating pillows draped across seating and hanging swings throughout the gardens.

Live music by Tom Wardle played throughout the evening as guests gathered among the gardens and redwoods. Brianna O’Brien created live fashion illustrations for attendees. Venus et Fleur floral arrangements added to the setting, while Marc-Antoine Barrois Paris scented the event.
Artwork by Eve B and Swedish-American painter Karolina Karlsson, who is represented by Space Gallery Soho, was displayed at the event. Both artists also show work at A Room at the Beach.

Guests departed with gift bags featuring products from participating partners including Dolce Glow, NY Pilates, Izipizi,  Michelle Copeland Skincare, Rocco Carriero, Danucera, and Marc-Antoine Barrois Paris. .
