CHERRY GROVE FIRE ISLAND IS FANTASY LAND

Image
Johnny Pool With Lois And James Edstrom Cherry's On The Water Sunset At Cherry's Fire Island Well I spent a wild and crazy few days in Fire Island New York, drinking and running around through the woods and beach. The trip was great except for the horrible Cherry Grove Beach Hotel and you can read my review on the place by clicking here. But this is the one vacation spot I love more than anything. Except for the very high prices. I mean, a slice of pizza is $3.50, a large soda is also $3.50. Cigarettes are almost 9 dollars a pack. A very small milk shake is 6 bucks. If you go to any of the restaurants, it's going to cost you anywhere from 27 dollars to 50 dollars for just a main course. And the food at these prices isn't all that great. But the beauty of the island just keeps luring me back year after year. There is just something about the place. I thinks its the freedom and the people that are there year after year. There are no cars in Cherry Grove. Just little bo...

ALISON'S CONFESSIONS OF A PRAIRIE BITCH

Image
Tommy Chong Smokes French Fry's Alison Arngrim And Cable Queen Robin Byrd Last night at New York City's famed Cutting Room, Alison Arngrim had the crowd in stitches during her show "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch." “Nellie” dished the dirt from her child-star days including hysterical stories of advances made by “Tattoo” and “Grizzly Adams.” Fantasy Island’s HervĂ© Jean-Pierre Villechaize propositioned everyone so it wasn’t too surprising when he asked the prairie girl for a roll in the hay. When Alison was twelve, Dan Haggerty cornered her at the punchbowl at Brenda Vaccaro's Christmas party- must have spent too much time alone in the woods! Her parents were friends with Liberace, and Alison recalls the lawsuits he won against those who claimed he was gay; she calls him the “OJ Simpson of the closet.” Of her fellow child stars, Alison notes, she is the only one who hasn’t posed for Playboy, held up a video store, or shot her dealer. Following Alison, the laugh...

THREESOMES AT THE FAMED CUTTING ROOM

Image
THE PASHA'S CORNER Lainie Speiser With Steve Walter And Cable Queen Robin Byrd There's a new book out on the care and feeding OF THREESOMES ... called THREESOMES (For Couples Who Want To Know More) on Quiver Press, and last night it was properly launched at Steve Walter's Cutting Room by its author LAINIE SPEISER, and V2 Vodka.Speiser (who is already preparing her follow up book) also doubles as the PR-chief at Penthouse Magazine ... and several of the penthouse pets (including the luscious Krista Ayne) appeared at the fete last night.Ironically, there is no other book on the market currently that explores (and, Illustrates in somewhat graphic detail) the subject of threesomes. According to polls, 24% of Americans (16% of men and 8% of women) admit they have had a threesome -- and that doesn't even account for all the people that fantasize about them! Among those lost deep in fantasy last night, were: ROBIN BYRD; IVY SUPERSONIC; Playbill-photographer AUBREY REUBEN; MA...
