Last night at New York City's famed Cutting Room, Alison Arngrim had the crowd in stitches during her show "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch." “Nellie” dished the dirt from her child-star days including hysterical stories of advances made by “Tattoo” and “Grizzly Adams.” Fantasy Island’s Hervé Jean-Pierre Villechaize propositioned everyone so it wasn’t too surprising when he asked the prairie girl for a roll in the hay. When Alison was twelve, Dan Haggerty cornered her at the punchbowl at Brenda Vaccaro's Christmas party- must have spent too much time alone in the woods! Her parents were friends with Liberace, and Alison recalls the lawsuits he won against those who claimed he was gay; she calls him the “OJ Simpson of the closet.” Of her fellow child stars, Alison notes, she is the only one who hasn’t posed for Playboy, held up a video store, or shot her dealer. Following Alison, the laughs continued with Tommy Chong as he celebrated his new book, “Cheech & Chong: The Unauthorized Autobiography.” Tommy described his days in jail and recollected the beautiful gardens he and his pothead cellmates grew. Turns out it’s an advantage to be an incarcerated pot-smoker - it took him three months before he realized he was in jail! Tommy is excited to work with Cheech again and is looking forward to coming to Radio City Music Hall in October.
