HALLOWEEN FUN 'DINOSAURS AFTER DARK' @ FIELD STATION

Dinosaurs After Dark

LEONIA, N.J., — Parents looking for a fun fall family-friendly activity should check out Dinosaurs After Dark at Field Station: Dinosaurs, open every Friday and Saturday night through Oct. 26th!

Even the herbivores can look pretty scary when encountered during the Tyrannosaurus Hunt, a lantern-lit walking tour of the outdoor adventure park with 33 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs lead by one of Field Station’s fearless Dinosaur Wranglers.

“Sure, traditional fall activities like hayrides and pumpkin picking are great photo opportunities but this is an experience that kids will be talking about years from now,” said Guy Gsell, Executive Director for Field Station: Dinosaurs. “It’s a really unique way to enjoy the park, even for people that have already visited during the day.”

Dinosaurs After Dark visitors can also enjoy games at the Mesozoic Midway, a campfire sing-along, roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate, as well as the Cretaceous Costume Party live musical show created especially for this audience.

Tickets are $24, season pass holders are $19.20, group sales available. Gates open at 6:45 p.m. for 7 p.m. and reservations re recommended.

Field Station: Dinosaurs’ daytime hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sun., Oct. 27th rain or shine.
