NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF OSCAR REYES INTRODUCES NEW MENU @ GREENWICH STEAKHOUSE

Greenwich Steakhouse

Greenwich Steakhouse, one of New York City’s leading steakhouse dining destinations, introduces new brunch, lunch and dinner menus prepared by the new Executive Chef Oscar Reyes. Passing the torch—in this case, the toque blanche—former Executive Chef Victor H. Chavez has re-entered retirement after successfully carrying out his dream of opening his own restaurant in the intimate, downtown setting of the 62 Greenwich location. Executive Chef Oscar Reyes now leads the kitchen, bringing with him a lifetime of experience and seven years of hard-earned expertise training under the 40-year culinary veteran Chef Chavez at the iconic Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse.

Bolstering a new and impressively gourmet menu at Greenwich Steakhouse, Executive Chef Oscar Reyes takes a humble approach to the culinary arts, upholding the values his predecessor imparted him with—that, above all things, hard work and genuine kindness goes a long way. Mirroring this ideal, the team of culinary experts and attentive waitstaff at Greenwich Steakhouse applaud Reyes’ masterful preparations and his ability to lead under pressure during one of the busiest times of year for New York City restaurants. Needless to say, the three-story eatery is eager to accommodate a list full of new brunch, lunch plus dinner reservations and host guests’ exclusive events, private gatherings and intimate celebrations for the holidays.

In addition to the already perfected dining experience, new brunch and lunch hours add to the classic comfort of Greenwich Steakhouse. West Village commuters and office workers will enjoy a power lunch at the high-end restaurant from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday. The perfect brunch setting on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the youthful elegance of each floor offers a fresh perspective on the NYC brunch experience. The famed Thick-Cut Smoked Bacon can now be enjoyed alongside homestyle waffles, pancakes and a host of newly introduced brunch specials. New dinner hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Wine Room @ Greenwich Steakhouse

The new-school steakhouse specializes in dry-aged steak options – USDA prime-dried in-house – which have quickly asserted its prominent position in the dining scene and distinguishing it from the sameness of age-old steakhouses. Foodies and diners at Greenwich Steakhouse can enjoy the masterfully articulated flavors in each dish that are artfully plated, appealing to guests’ desires. Organic vegetables are sourced directly from Somewhere in Time Farm where the purest and best tasting vegetables are cultivated in the healthiest soil.

Those in attendance will enjoy the gourmet dining experience owner Frank Gocaj has created inside of the uniquely designed private space. Greenwich Steakhouse’s statement design and furnishings give each room its distinctive character and luxurious appeal. Since opening in 2017, Greenwich Steakhouse has quickly become one of the leading steakhouse dining destinations in New York City.

Leading up to the holidays, begin planning your intimate celebrations for family and friends at Greenwich Steakhouse. Executive Chef Oscar Reyes prepares signature entrees, to complement the extensive bar menu and excellent selection of wines. The upscale New York City restaurant has hosted celebrities including 15-time Grammy® Award-winning singer Alicia Keys, 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ winner Xherdan Shaqiri and Golden Globe nominated actor Armie Hammer for their own private dining experiences.
